At around midnight on Sept. 29, two men approached the 24-year-old victim at the Potomac Inn, in the 13900 block of Richmond Highway, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
The two suspects knocked the victim to the ground, before stealing his money and phone, authorities said.
A little while later the victim approached police, with injuries to his face, officials said.
One of the suspects, 21-year-old Jahkeron Lazare, was arrested for robbery and possession of a controlled substance, police said.
The second suspect is still at large. He was described as a thin black man, around 20 years old, with short black hair and brown eyes, law enforcement reported.
Police said he was about 6'2 and was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
Anyone with information on this incident or the second suspect's identity should contact police at 703-792-7000.
